To preserve a little piece of Coonawarra cricketing history, the original pavilion was retained and the vines were planted around the cricket pitch.

Country of Packing

Australia

History

Founded in 1959, Jim Barry Wines is still family owned, with three generations of Roseworthy graduates. The grapes were crushed and destemmed before fermentation in stainless steel fermenters with heading down boards, which submerge the skins in the fermenting must. This moderates the temperature of the fermenting skins or 'cap' while gently extracting colour, flavour and tannins. Pump-overs were conducted twice per day with a rack and return taking place daily during the early stages. Fermentation lasted seven to 10 days before being pressed. Malolactic conversion took place in tank before the wine was racked to French oak for 12 months' maturation.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0954/0714/5343/files/500x500_fed83cca-45a1-466f-8e6e-ddf74e4bf53f.jpg?v=1772254144
https://interactivegroupltd.co.uk/products/jim-barry-cover-drive-cabernet-sauvignon-clare-vallycoonawarra
