Savlon Burns & Scalds 0.25% w/w Cream

Savlon® Burns & Scalds is a cream which contains chlorhexidine gluconate, an antibacterial agent. It can be used to treat minor burns and scalds, abrasions, scratches, sunburn blisters or infected cracked skin.

Keep it out of the sight and reach of children. There are no special conditions for storing this medicine. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Medicine should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of any unused medicine. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Read all the enclosed leaflet before use. For the treatment of minor burns and scalds, scratches, cuts and abrasions, sunburn blisters and infected, cracked skin. Apply it to the skin as needed.

Adults, the elderly and children: For general use Apply freely and smooth gently into the affected skin. For cuts, abrasions or burns Spread freely and if necessary cover with a dressing. Use this medicine only on your skin. See leaflet for further precautions.

Active ingredient: Chlorhexidine Gluconate 20% solution 1.25% v/w., Also contains: Arlatone, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, Dimeticone 20, Glycerol (E422), Quinoline Yellow Lake (E104), Purified Water

This product contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis)
