High welfare British beef shin braised in ale with outdoor reared smoked bacon lardons, chestnut mushrooms, fresh herbs and finished with a dollop of horseradish. All encased in shortcrust pastry.

Here at Willy's we take pride in our pies. Handmade in Hackney, our mixes are cooked and the pies are baked by real people who take pride and care for the product destined to be on your plate. We use the finest quality ingredients throughout from all British grassfed beef, herb fed free range chicken, outdoor reared pork, fresh seasonal herbs and vegetables all incased in our bespoke secret pastry recipe.

Preparation and Usage

Oven cook - from chilled (defrost thoroughly if home frozen). Remove pie from outer packaging. Place on a baking tray in its foil, on the middle shelf, in a pre-heated fan assisted/gas oven and cook for 20-25 minutes at 180°C/ Gas mark 6. These are only guidelines as appliances may vary. Adjust baking times according to your particular oven (conventional ovens may take longer than fan assisted).
Always check that food is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.
