Product Information
Sylva Orchard begins with English regenerative pale malted barley from Muntons in Suffolk, selected as the base distillate for its raisin and biscuit character. Plum wood from a Welsh family orchard is joined by apple wood from Worcestershire’s orchards and cherry wood from the distillery’s own wild cherry trees, with the wood smoke drawn from cherrywood itself.A vibrant orchard opens up with ripe red cherries, stewed plums, and crisp apple peel drifting gently with a soft, sweet smoke. Beneath the fruit, there’s warm notes of toasted malt, biscuit and vanilla, with hints of Bakewell tart. Lush and layered: juicy stone fruits lead the way into velvety malt and subtle caramel. Mid-palate, the influence of apple and plum wood emerges with a mellow, almost honeyed warmth, while cherrywood adds a marzipan and nougat character. A whisper of smoke threads through it all, never overpowering, but adding depth and elegance. The finish is smooth and long, with a final flourish of dark berries, cherry blossom and comforting smoke.
Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week

Nestled in The Colne Valley on the Suffolk border sits the world’s first Sylva distillery and maturation lab, where aged, non-alcoholic spirits are made from grain and wood. From the Olde English for “of the forest,” Sylva stems from Seedlip founder Ben Branson’s lifelong obsession with trees. Designed to be sipped slowly, the production of Sylva is made possible by a pioneering distillation and maturation lab process. Each release blends foraged and locally sourced ingredients from surrounding farms, fields, and forests with an extraordinary and growing collection of over 200 tree species to showcase the unexplored flavour of trees.Alcohol by volume
