Regional information

From the Brawn Vineyard in the Dillon's Point sub-region of Marlborough. This region has a maritime climate. The cooling influence of the nearby ocean contributes to the great acidity and freshness that we know and love in wines from here. The region also benefits from plentiful sunshine to assist grape ripening.

Tasting notes

This minimal intervention orange wine has a floral nose with hints of orange peel. The winemaker describes this as a “breakfast negroni impersonator”. Fresh, saline, and juicy, this is a great introduction to orange wine. It is unfined and unfiltered so it is normal to see sediment in the bottle.
