Durum wheat piadina with prosciutto, burrata & rocket
Ingredients:
2 Durum wheat piadina
4-6 Slices prosciutto crudo
1 Ball fresh burrata cheese
A generous handful of fresh rocket
Extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Method:
1. Warm the piadina
Follow on-pack instructions to heat 2 piadina until soft and flaky.
2. Prepare the filling
While the piadina are still warm, gently tear the burrata and place it onto one half of each flatbread.
3. Add prosciutto & rocket
Layer the prosciutto slices over the burrata. Top with a handful of fresh rocket.
4. To finish
Drizzle everything with good quality extra virgin olive oil.
Add a pinch of salt and a twist of black pepper if desired.
5. Fold & serve
In true Italian style, fold the piadina and cut in half.
Serve immediately while warm.
