Don Julio 1942 Anejo Tequila

Don Julio is the world's first luxury tequila. The 1942 Tequila is created as a tribute to the year Don Julio González began his career as a tequila distiller. It owes its exceptional smoothness to the longer maturation process and the fact that it is distilled from selected blue agaves that are cultivated and hand-picked for six to ten years. This handcrafted, iconic tequila is produced exclusively in small batches and is recognised as one of the most exclusive tequilas currently on the market. The spirit matures for two and a half years in rare American white oak barrels, resulting in an incredibly well-developed and coherent structure. It tastes of flambéed oak, pepper and cinnamon with a hint of sultanas.
