We source different varieties throughout the year to give you the best eating quality. Depending on variety, the skin will vary from dark purple/brown/black to medium/dark green, and from knobbly to smooth.

These ripe and ready avocados have an exquisitely rich, buttery-smooth flesh with a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. They have a mildly nutty flavour (similar to almonds or cashews), a hint of sweetness and earthy undertones.

As 80g is 1 of your 5 a day, their versatility makes them ideal for drinks and dishes. Blitz up in a blender for guacamole, avocado toast or to add to your smoothie. How to prepare an avocado:

1. Cut all the way around the avocado stone.
2. Twist the 2 halves of the avocado apart.
3. Use a spoon to scoop out the stone.
4. Score along the skin and peel off in strips.
