Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 40mm

This PRX Powermatic 80 is a modern classic, blending a 1970s retro look with today’s tech.

The 40mm stainless steel case has the iconic PRX shape – a wide, tonneau body with an integrated bracelet that flows seamlessly from the lugs. The dial is black with a textured “waffle” pattern (embossed square grid) that adds depth and catches the light.

Slim baton indices and hands (with lume) mark the hours, and a date window appears at 3 o’clock.

At the heart of the watch is the Powermatic 80 automatic movement, boasting up to 80 hours of power reserve, meaning you can set the watch down for a long weekend and it will still be running Monday.

This movement also features a Nivachron™ hairspring, giving improved resistance to magnetism and shocks. A sapphire crystal on the front and a see-through sapphire caseback (revealing the rotor) are standard.

The integrated stainless steel bracelet with a satin-brushed finish completes the luxurious 70s vibe.

The PRX is water resistant to 100m, adding everyday utility to its stylish design.

The black dial version, in particular, is noted for its harmonious design and the way the textured dial and polished facets play with the light.
