Tissot Seastar 1000 Quartz Chronograph

The Seastar 1000 Quartz Chronograph condenses diving utility with stopwatch functionality, and this version brings a cool blue-and-black colour-way.

It comes in a roughly 45.5mm stainless steel case to accommodate the chronograph pushers and sub-dials. The dial is deep blue with black sub-dials or black bezel.

It has three sub-dials (chronograph 30-minute counter, 1/10-second counter, and running seconds) and a date, at 4 o’clock. The hour markers are bold and filled with lume, as are the hands, for readability underwater.

The unidirectional rotating bezel in black (possibly with blue accents or a blue dive scale) allows dive time tracking; it might have a mineral or ceramic insert.

Inside is a Swiss quartz chronograph movement, providing precise timing and ease of use (no winding, just battery changes).

The watch is water-resistant to 300m, impressive for a chronograph, and the pushers are likely screw-down or specially sealed to prevent water ingress when not in use.

A sapphire crystal covers the dial. The Seastar chrono comes with a stainless steel bracelet.
